whoops, noe i havent blogged in a loooonnnggg while:P
anyways, mid yrs was bad...really bad..
so far i've alrdy failed math..n by the look of things, im prob gonna fail all my other subjs too..

investiture is nx wk..have to start planning again:(
then there's still pw to be done..which just sucks..

on the bright side, played the lord of the rings board game with my bro n elaine ytd:D
haa its kinda fun actually! and then we tried this really weird, confusing game called monkeys on the moon..but we gave up halfway cos we didnt understand. anyways, call me slow, but i just watched the first lotr movie:D hahaaa..

went back to sch for cca today...only managed to climb half the wall, and then i got stuck:(
hahaa and after that didnt have any more strength to pull myself up..

went macs for lunch and to study with some odac ppl..okay fine, i slept the first half hr or so..and in the end only managed to finish like 6 math qns=.=
we were studying at the tables outside amk macs, and we had the whole area to ourselves..but somehow, the cleaners there seemed to be quite obsessed abt clean tables at that area...in that few hours that we were there, he managed to clean 1 particular table countless times-.- even though it was empty and none of us were eating! weird...hahaaa

slept the whole day away!
okay, so camp started on friday night..reached sch at 9.30..
did our hw..and then lie-ed on the aj square, staring at the star-less sky..
left sch arnd 12plus to look for our campsite. we reached some random park in sengkang at 4am in the morning...too lazy to pitch tent, so slept on the floor..had to wake up 1hr later..but i couldnt slp at all cos it was cold. had breakfast after everyone woke up. walked 3 LRT stations down to get a bus to changi...kayaked 21km arnd pulau ubin..walked to pasir mrt..took train back to sch..had dinner..slept! yepp..that was camp..fun but VERY tiring...
and now i have muscle aches everywhere!

thanks everyone for all the birthday songs, wishes, cakes and presents:D
went out for ma2 la4 steamboat last nite..hahaa its really hot! lucky we ordered the double steamboat, so in the end most of us ended up drinking the not-so-hot steamboat soup instead..
went for icekimo icecream after that! shiok-ness!! hahaaa durian icecream!!!!



kayak 2 star expedition today...claudy shir and i went for breakfast at changi village as usual..then went to water venture and tried to open the gate..the gate was padlocked and when i tried to open it, the freaking alarm system went off!! kns! super sensitive lah! haa so we just sat there until the alarm turned off..dumb..during the expedition, my arm was aching like crazy alrdy...totally no strength to paddle! we paddled from changi to loyang, which is arnd +/-4km...beached up, had lunch, rested and paddled back...hahaa then we banja-ed in the sea! after that was the kayak-to-swimmer rescue thing...so i was a swimmer first, had to swim quite far out into sea..wahh, was super scared that there'll be jellyfish in the sea, cos we saw 1 or 2 on the way to loyang..but lucky dont have!

today was fun...but it just drained all my energy!

Regrets~
haiz..seem to be regretting everything im doing nowadays...well almost everything..
i was thinking if i made a mistake in choosing arts..and then val and i were thinking if we made mistakes in even choosing to go JC!
she wants her tourism. i want my psychology.

damn..oh well. whats done is done..im loving JC, but at the same time i resent the piles of hw and (some) teachers.

i made a decision a while back. now im going to have to go through it no matter what..might as well make the most of it.

funny thing was, some ppl, they come in holding on to their friend's shoulders, making a whole line...
then shin fen would hold on to the last person's shoulders and follow them around!
and there was once, i went to stand in between 2 participants..and the one behind me thought i was her friend, so she grabbed me..
thats when i slowly turned arnd and turned on my torchlight at my face again! hahahaa her reaction was damn funny!!
our ogls had funny reactions too!! the ghosts were actually laughing at them whilst trying to scare them!!

ytd i had an afternn nap:D shiokness!
until i realised that i couldnt slp at night...
so i was entertained by my sis+alywin and bro+elaine!
hahaha we all squashed in our room, and my bro and alywin attempted some weird yoga poses that my sis learnt in her yoga class! elaine and i decided not to embarrass ourselves cos we were too inflexible:P so we sat there laughing at them....i ended up more high than before-.-
hahaaa in d end, fell aslp at almost 2am!


then today, on the way home, i was soooooo slpy that i fell aslp in the bus and missed my stop=.=

went to far east with Janel and WL on thursday:D
daaaammmmmnnn long since i last saw them!
after some shopping(window shopping for me:P), i went to ps to wait for gor+gf+bro
rotted away with my macs icecream and orange juice..
watched Street Fighters: Legend of Chun Li!
hahaaa she's very pretty:D but ne4 tie e 2 buns:(
after that went to world of sports...gor bought some resistance bands and a pull up bar!
hehee cooll:D now i can train!

sentosa ytd....
started out my day REALLLLYYY badly:(
first, i set my alarm at 8.20 e nite before, when i was supposed to meet claudy at 8.15!!!
dont ask me how i managed to do that...just a moment of dumbness:(
anyway, finally left house...bussed to srg mrt..and realised that there was an SCDF exercise at boon keng mrt...and the train service was affected or something..so i was 1.5 hrs late...waited for mrt, gave up, waited for cab, gave up again, went back to mrt, and then finally got onto e free shuttle bus to potong pasir mrt-.-
met claudy ian and ogls at vivo..went to sentosa palawan beach and played:D
everyone got dunked! but water was veeeerrrryyy dirty:( think there was oil spill or something...my fav seeking christ '08 shirt came out with brown spots! water bombed, half buried tian jun, and then buried poor brendon...oh but he was loving it!!! he even made himself a sand pillow! washed up and went vivo for carls jr:D

rushed to cell after that...was 2 hrs late though:P and the moment i stepped into nigel's house, i heard "wahh, why she so dark/red" and then i realised i was burnt:(
hahaa and after cell, almost every1 left except me val gracia and my cousin...3 of us(nigel, val, me) talked quite long while e 2 of them "slept"...hahaaa we didnt realise it, but we talked until 9pm!



deborah drummed for youth today:D hahaaa great drumming deb!!! and great keyboarding val!!! hee today our 2nd row was empty...cos val and deb played for worship, xx did projection, and aud and i ushered...hehh and amanda finally came!!!
hahahaaa ONE DAY i will learn my piano/drums/guitar!

Friday:
rushed home after sch to prepare for ern's birthday party:D met deb at 6 at ps...walked arnd..bought tako balls(yummm!!)..sat down and talked..(almost forgot my hp..AGAIN:P)..was about to hail a cab, but decided to buy starbucks:D we finally finally reached the place...but realised we were SUPER early...hahaaa so we walked arnd again and waited for ppl to come..
party was fun!! great singing:D

Saturday:
cell at xixian's house...yummy curry and prata dinner:D
val left before dinner:( had to bus home myself..

Sunday:
RACE DAY!! GO TEAM THUNDER~
ran 1 round arnd bedok reservoir...crazyy..the last time i went there was during PL's cross-country(read: cross-reservoir)....and i didnt walked most of the distance that time...hahaa ytd, we ran/jogged/walked..ODAC ROCKS! thank God for great odacians and teammates who encouraged us-who-couldnt-take-it-anymore:D
then feixin and jacq went on to kayak, while hanping and i went round the reservoir again, this time with 1 bike to share between us...hahaaa hanping rocks cos he ran most of the way...we were actually the last team, but managed to catch up with everyone else...i tried to jog and let him rest of the bike for awhile...but couldnt take it after a measely 4/500m:P reached checkpoint and waited for kayakers to return.
after that, we walked to tampines bike trail...poor claudy, fell down and grazed her arm! anywayy..the bike trail is fun...but d bike sucks:( cos the seat so hard..and up till now, im still suffering the after-effects of a hard bicycle seat! boo..
walked to pasir ris through park connector...played games...and sudoku(wished mummy was there...she'd probably have finished the thing in less than 5 mins)...hahahaa my brain was fried, and i kept giving d wrong ans at the beginning (sryy team)! started raining, so we covered ourselves with a poncho...rain got heavier, so we all put on our ponchos and headed to the meetup point(some convenience store/toilet place)..we all looked like green dementors walking in pasir ris! when everyone left, i went to look for gor...washed many mud-covered bicycles, and finally headed home...

today: great day of rest! woke at 10/11+am, had breakfast, went back to slp, woke up, watched back few eps of a korean show....slept, woke up, watched last 2 eps, slept again, and finally woke up to bathe and use com:D





i still hate the after-effects of a race! my body aches:( everywhere! eeks...
hahaa jie went gym ytd, so she's aching today too....and i complained that i felt like a pregnant woman..(cos my lower back muscles were pain(i dunno why) and i kept supporting them, like how a pregnant woman supports her back!)

whoo:D i have 1 star in kayaking:D:D
hahaaa stupid me, forgot to bring xtra shorts to change=.=
so i had to go home in wet shorts!

at least i didnt capsize accidentally...since the water was super dirtyy!
it was low tide today...so water from the nearby longkangs and canals went to the sea:(
but had to do capsize drill and the rescue thing...quite cool:D

started raining arnd 4...so we went back to avoid the thunderstorm..lucky we finished learning everything alrdy..
stupid lightning was right above us...even struck our roof:( so loud! hate lightnings...no. lightnings are nice! hate thunders!!
played "give me tempo ready go" while waiting for rain to stop(so that we can wash our kayaks)
and then we ODAC banja-ed:D heheheeee i love banjaaaaaaa!!! yay 26th comm!!!

shoulders are aching now:( think i didnt use my paddles proparly, cos it's supposed to be ur abs that ache(or rather the non-existent abs)....

at least i rmbed to put sunblock on my neck:D:D:D:D:D

ODAC camp was fun:D but tiring...
shall start at the beginning
(warning..it's gonna b long and abit lor sor..so bear with me:D)

friday after sch, went home to get camp bag, then met up with shir and claudia..went to put our stuff in sch b4 heading down to NYP for lunch(sandwich). it was quite yummy:D went back to AJ after that and met up with d rest of the odacians(love this word:D)...


start of camp! our camp scenario was this: we were adventure racers who survived a plane crash in d Amazon Rainforest..so we had to try and get out...

played a game called barbed wire..this was in one of the classrooms..anyway, we had to form a circle(hold hands) and try to cross(either under or over) the raffia strings that were tied across a few tables...if we touched the string or the tables, we had to restart the entire thing....hahaa so we were at it for quite some time...2hrs to be exact...it's not as easy as it seems! after awhile, the seniors blindfolded or muted some of us...and it got even harder after that...didnt manage to complete the game in d end lah..but it was fun

dinner after that..field cooking for cancelled, so j2s went to da3 bao1 economic rice for us...cant rmb what i had..except for some odd-veggie thing...couldnt finish my rice(dont eat alot of rice..im not a fan4 tong3:P)...hahahaa the guys in our grp quite poor thing..had to help some of the us(girls) to finish food..

pitched our tents in d field after that...did our first A-shaped tent..not bad lah...and then our nx task was to pitch the 2nd tent BLINDFOLDED! quite hilarious..until we were ALL muted too! then some ppl were unblinded so they cld see...and then some ppl(including me) were unmuted...hahaa so in d end, there were ppl who could not see, some ppl who could not talk and some ppl who could not see OR talk! but we managed to pitch the tent in d end:D though it looked quite sad and saggy:P guys had dome-shaped tents to slp in....so much more safer than ours:P who knew if our tent wld suddenly collapse in d middle of the nite! hahaaa but it didnt lah..luckily...after that went to wash up and slp...couldnt really slp at first...so went toilet with fei xin..came back...stoned awhile in tent b4 finally falling aslp...

woke up at 5am the nx day...washed up, got ready..and then stoned somemore in d tent till it was 5.45...then we went to assemble on d track...had physical training:'( warmed up 2 rounds..did some stretching warm ups...and then started training proper...run/jog 2 rounds, did stretches, run/jog 2 rounds, did more stretches(pumping and a killer stretch(cant rmb what its called)), ran last 2 rounds, did even more stretches(modified crunches and some leg lifting thing that was super tiring too)....and then we had breakfast..

after that, we learned how to make temporary stretchers for casualties..and we had to carry our j2 casualty all over the sch(through obstacles, up and down stairs etc)..aiyoh, our casualty VERY talkative and cheerful...kept doing bimbotic cheers:P last game for this section was electric fence...raffia string was tied across 2 pillars(string was tied to abt shoulder height) and we had to bring the casualty PLUS all of our members across without touching d string or pillar...if anyone touched, he would become a casualty immediately(cos electric fence ma..) and if any of our stuff touched the string, it would be taken away...haa we didnt manage to complete this task lah..only managed to get 1 or 2 members across..
oh yah, we had to carry our bags around too!

then we had lunch:D our hands were tied to d person nx to us...(so my right hand is tied to d left hand of the person on my right..and my left hand is tied to d right hand of d person on my left:D confusing i noe..) and we ate lunch like that..

last activity...played a few more games..and then built our flag structure...something like a 4 sided pyramid..and our 4 grp flags(t-shirts) were tied to poles which were attached to the pyramid structure..raised our flag:D and took some pictures...undid entire structure:( and the camp was over...had debrief..then went home..

reached home abt 5+...and then here comes the best part..the camp lasted from 4pm to abt 4.30 the nx day(so its 24 hrs)...i came home, slept at like almost 7pm..all the way to 8am this morning:P haa think mummy tried to wake me up for dinner..but i was too tired to climb out of bed..(but i rmb being very hungry when i got home, so i guess slp was more impt than food at that time lah:P)


was quite dead during youth today...had a sudden coughing fit during main service in church...dunno why...so irritating:(

entire body aching now...must really go exercise....planned to go jogging with val today...but in d end we didnt:( haa anyway we may be mugging later:D

school has been okay so far....we have an "awesome" timetable=.=
lectures end at 9.45 tmr....even then, the first lesson that we have is a meet-ur-PD-tutor(form teacher)-session.....which means that i only have ONE lecture (Geog) till 9.45....sians..
have the rest of the morning to slack arnd....haiz...speaking of geog, have i mentioned that my geog lecturer goes through her slides reeeeeaaaaaalllllllyyy fast?! barely had time to register what she said...haha but she's actually quite funny luh...

math lecture today...learned LOG! shiits...and i was soo happy when i dropped amaths last yr cos i didnt have to do this chpt again....
i tell u...i spent 10mins in lecture attempting to convert indices form to logarithmic form!! AND i had the formula right infront of me! lols..my brain just wasnt working luh....
went library with shir, claudia and christina during free period....and did our math tutorial qns(even though we didnt nd to yet!) hahahaaa im seriously gonna turn into a mugger in this sch luh! but thats not a bad thing actually:D anyway, realised that my indices topic has gone quite rusty...so must practice more....sians...

ohwells...gg home with shirlene and claudia after that to get our camp bags:D and then off to nyp to eat lunchie! hahahaaa ban mian here i come!!
hehe, cant wait for camp EZ to start! and no, we've been warned..it's NOT gonna be very easy at all!
haizz..think we're gonna do rockclimbing during the camp...i've ne4 rockclimbed b4!! shuckss..and the last time i abseiled was in p5....didnt have the guts to do it in sec3:P

anyway...hope i can still rmb all d knots we learnt ytd! though my rope tie-ing really sucks...our structure FELL over ytd during d game..due to our superb skills! superr embarrassing:P

okay...have to go pack my bag now:D must slp early tonite! get enough rest! recharge for camp!
